YPK Bali support parents to maximize the improvement of the quality of life for PWDs

YPK Bali applies an integrated approach strategy in maximizing the improvement of the quality of life for people with physical disabilities to live their lives as independently as possible. Thanks to this, a total of 128 families had a better understanding and more confidence in caring for their family. YPK Bali believes that family is the most important support system for everyone, including people with disabilities. YPK Bali is proud to see changes in the number of parents who are more aware of the needs of their families and are able to understand the importance of providing opportunities to develop the independence of persons with disabilities.

As part of his son’s support system, Wiguna's father helps Wiguna practice and develop his independence through modified therapy tools that can be used at home. These tools were specially designed by his father to make it easier for Wiguna to do daily exercises to strengthen his legs, waist and back. Wiguna's father is one of thousands of families who continue to struggle to support disability independence and YPK Bali is always ready to support all parties involved.
