ROLE AND TASK DESCRIPTION
Act as the project manager for the Malta Social Impact Awards to implement the initiative’s strategy and plan for the following year
Follow up with the winners of MSIA 2021 and any other past winners, to ensure their grant-making process is followed, reports are sent in and communicated with the board
Design and implement communication resources to promote the MSIA initiative. Which may include, creating and disseminating effective promotional materials, online and hard copies, content for Social Media and PR. Update and improve the content of the MSIA website
Monitor and evaluate events, trainings and sessions. Impact reports to be created and shared.
Coordinate and organise the Malta Social Impact Awards (2021) and any others and related events to be held after.
Help with creating SoPs, updating documents, templates and guidelines for MSIA
Reaching out to other businesses and partners to be part of MSIA
Coordinate and work with current and new stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of MSIA with the support needed for it to be successful
Identify and develop new ideas for MSIA
The Project Manager will also assist the CEO with the below tasks for the Foundation:
Work with Inspirasia’s Communications manager to create and post content for social media and communication resources for any related projects, to support the Foundation’s goals and objectives.
Assist the CEO with Inspirasia’s Grant Making process as advised by the CEO
Help create and send out monthly newsletters/updates to grantees, Board Members and MSIA judges, keeping the Inspirasia Foundation Facebook Group active with any updates, funding and other opportunities
Assist and help with the coordinating and organising of events and other initiatives as advised by the CEO.
Organise and help chair meetings, internal meetings and board meetings, take minutes and follow up with reports for meetings held.
REQUIREMENTS
University Degree (Communications, Humanitarian or Development, Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship or other related areas).
Experience working in the voluntary or non-profit Sector an advantage.
Previously worked for a voluntary organisation or Foundation an advantage.
Must be able to work well alone and also within a team
Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Clear communicator both verbally and written
Presentable and dynamic personality
Excellent organisational skills
Computer literate (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Microsoft teams, zoom etc)
Able to use design programmes like photoshop and indesign an asset
Fluency in written and spoken English, good reporting writing and communication skills is required
Able to travel if needed
Experience in monitoring and evaluation, impact measurement and grant making processes and proposals an asset
Details of the Position:
o Based in Malta
o To start immediately on part time basis till April 2021
o 1-year full time contract from April 2021 with the possibility to extend
o Salary based on Eur24,000 gross annually for full-time contract.
o Working in a small team covering a number of interesting initiatives
