Annika Linden Centre (ALC) holds Open Day with Inspirasia and ALC Founder Mark Weingard
Created out of the vision and investment of Inspirasia Foundation, the Annika Linden Centre (ALC) - which now houses three of our grantees - regularly invites people to understand more about disability services and their positive impact on people with a disability. In February, ALC welcomed more than 25 people from the business and hospitality communities in Bali to share their experience in social responsibility and make a change in people’s lives changes.
This Open Day was special because the tour was led directly by Inspirasia Foundation and Annika Linden Centre Founder, Mark Weingard. In addition to this, a sharing session was also held to discuss social activities and challenges in Bali. Namiani, a client and success story from Puspadi Bali, as well as and Sri Lestari, a wheelchair user from UCP Roda Untuk Kemanusiaan, were also invited to this event to share their experiences as people with a disability and the opportunity that was given to them to change their life through accessible, adaptive mobility aid, connections, and also knowledge.
