Gek Ayu, a DNetwork user who works at Peppers Hotel Seminyak

As one of DNetwork’s users, I Gusti Ayu Ariyanthi Pratiwi, also known as Gek Ayu, is a person with deafness who is quite active in communicating with DNetwork regarding their job vacancy information. Periodically, Gek Ayu consults with DNetwork either online or directly at their office to get information on job vacancies. Having skills in the Food and Beverage section with pastry specifications, Gek Ayu was very interested in the Culinary and Hospitality sector.

DNetwork collaborates with various companies in the Hospitality sector, one of which is Peppers Hotel Seminyak, which happened to have a job opening in the pastry department for people with disabilities. Therefore, DNetwork provided recommendations to Peppers Hotel regarding potential candidates for these vacancies and then contacted Gek Ayu to take part in the recruitment stages. In December 2023, thanks to her cooperation and persistence, she was accepted to work at Peppers Hotel as a Pastry Chef. Through her work, Gek Ayu is able to be independent and support her family as a mother with a disability.
