Indira, The Little Doctor of YPK Bali

This was Indira's first experience as a child doctor in YPK Bali Class. Armed with a first aid medicine box, Indira learned how to deal with minor injuries and injuries that may occur when she plays at home. Indira was very enthusiastic to follow the direction of her teacher when smearing the medicine.

This activity is the initial provision for students to help themselves and others who are injured before getting help from medical personnel. Things that are taught range from how to clean and treat a minor wound (scratch), to how to close the wound with a special plaster. This activity can also guide and train students, build their self-reliance, and instill the lesson that self-help is an important thing to do before helping others.
