The Annika Linden Centre’s effort in supporting nonprofit capacity building continues amid the Pandemic. This month, they went virtual for the NGO training series, to give social workers and social supporters that are currently working from home the opportunity to continue building their capacity through online training.

The first training series brought two lecturers and psychologists from Bali Dwipa University to talk about managing stress and maintaining performance in these new working trends. Achmad Fauzi, who is also a facilitator at Leap Institute, talked about accepting this situation and embracing the uncertainty to reduce our stress level. Zeta Dangkua, who is an industrial psychologist, discussed how to set expectations to achieve a work-life balance while working from home.

More than 70 individuals and nonprofit staff members from all over Indonesia joined this two-hour online training. A questionnaire that was circulated at the end of the session revealed that 95% of the participants were satisfied with the training and would recommend future training to others. Next month, The Annika Linden Centre’s online NGO training series will feature topics that were requested during a needs assessment that was shared with the participants in the first online NGO training series. The 2nd online training series will discuss maximizing digital platforms to help continue nonprofit services amid the pandemic, while the 3rd and 4th sessions will be training on public speaking.

The Annika Linden Centre team continues to work with experts, businesses and practitioners to bring quality capacity building sessions for local nonprofits and social supporters. Follow their social media to receive updates on our training series and the activities being done by our partner nonprofits.
