Inspirasia Foundation donates all funds raised through Malta Together Time Capsule book to Charity

Inspirasia Foundation has donated all the funds raised through the sales of the Malta Together Time Capsule book, amounting to a total of €2,770 so far, to Fondazzjoni Sebħ, to help the organisation continue with its inspiring work. Fondazzjoni Sebħ is a registered voluntary organisation that provides residential services to children and female victims of violence and their children. Through a team of dedicated professionals, Fondazzjoni Sebħ offers a safe and loving home that caters for their residents’ daily needs and supports them in other emotional, physical and spiritual needs.

 In March 2020, Inspirasia Foundation launched Malta Together to help the local community during the outbreak of COVID-19 in Malta.  As part of the Malta Together initiative, a number of Short Story, Art and Poetry competitions were run to encourage the local community to be active and creative while they had to stay home and follow the directives issued by the health authorities. From Gratitude to Imagination, Adventure to Life During or After the Pandemic, each competition featured a unique theme that inspired creativity and hope. Impressed by the fantastic work that was submitted, Malta Together collated all the winning entries of each competition in a book to showcase the written and artistic talents of the community and document the community’s thoughts, stories and emotions during the challenging months between March and July 2020. Sponsored by Iniala Group, the book was awarded as a gift to all winners of the competitions and also sold with 100% of proceeds put together in the Malta Together Fund to be donated to a local charity.

 All the funds raised so far have now been donated to Fondazzjoni Sebħ to aid with the additional expenses they have incurred since the outbreak of COVID-19. The funds that are raised through the sales of the remaining books will also be donated to Fondazzjoni Sebħ to help them continue to support children and victims of violence, with the aim of reaching a €5,000 fundraising target.
