ALC Invited to be a Panelist at the Webinar ‘Initiative for Implementing Disability Inclusive Development’
Located in Denpasar, Bali, the Annika Linden Centre is a world-class facility providing multi-services for persons with disabilities, a regional hub of excellence for social change and an incubator for impact. The team there work with Inspirasia to provide tailor-made, impact-focused mentorship and hands-on training to the organisations Inspirasia supports in Bali, and to others too.
The Annika Linden Centre (ALC) was invited to be one of the panelists in the webinar ‘Initiative for Implementing Disability Inclusive Development at Regional Level’, during which the team had the opportunity to explain their ideas and experience working with disability organizations over the past ten years. As a role model for other institutions, ALC shared best practices in encouraging the fulfillment of disability rights and inclusiveness in infrastructure, employment, and health.
The Annika Linden Center also explained about the fulfillment of assistive devices for people with disabilities to be not seen as charity, but seen as a right of persons with disabilities, so they are fully protected by the government. This webinar was attended by more than 900 participants from various organizations of persons with disabilities, local and central governments, and development partners.
