YRS Commemoration of World AIDS Day and Breast Cancer Education Session

At the end of 2020, Inspirasia grantee YRS carried out various interesting activities which involved not only the community around the market but also the wider community outside the market. Starting with the commemoration of World AIDS Day on December 1st, 2020, this was filled with the distribution of ribbons and the dissemination of information on HIV / AIDS. Through this activity, YRS team at the same time educated people in Badung market and Sanur Intaran market to adopt healthy lifestyle behaviors and avoid risky behaviors in the current situation of Covid pandemic -19.

YRS also had the opportunity to share information about breast cancer with internal PT HM Sampoerna teams from several countries such as Switzerland, Italy, Turkey and China. The discussion was very exciting because all of the participants actively asked questions, and a few had just heard about the factors that can facilitate breast cancer. This session can help other women get the correct information about women's health, especially breast cancer.
