Yoseph starts the new year with a new prosthetic leg!
Yoseph Angkein from Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, started 2022 in Bali, but not on a holiday. Yoseph went there with the hope of getting a prosthetic leg from Puspadi Bali after his motorbike accident.
During his week in Bali, Yoseph had his measurements taken and did exercises with the Puspadi Bali team. It wasn’t easy for him to adapt, the week was full of hard work, but it passed quickly. When Yoseph went back to Kupang, he was confident with his new prosthetic leg and was accepted into the SIKKA Social Service. Yoseph will be participating in the empowerment at the EFATA Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Deaf and Speech Disabilities Kupang NTT for the next 6 months. This is the result of a collaboration between families, communities, NGOs, and the government, who have come together to provide empowerment opportunities for people with disabilities.
