YPK Bali Conducts Early Detection Screening Amid the Pandemic

Although disability is usually detected during pregnancy, some developmental disorders are found after the child is born. Screening or observation of a child’s development, which is usually done by a pediatric doctor or child development expert, are vital and have become the operational standard in some child growth centres and maternal and child hospitals. The importance of early detection of developmental disorders is a priority of YPK Bali when carrying out Posyandu health checks amid the pandemic. Last month, by implementing strict health protocols, YPK Bali successfully conducted early detection services of physical developmental disorders to 46 infants and toddlers in 3 districts in Bali, namely Klungkung, Tabanan and Karangasem. This posyandu activity is a collaboration of mobile clinic and Bali Rungu YPK Bali. Well done to the team at YPK Bali who continuously work hard to help the local communities by providing vital health and rehabilitation services.
